Doom 3 confirmed for Xbox

Xbox News | Activision and id Software announce a deal to see Doom 3 head to the Xbox.
Although most already suspected it, a Doom 3 port to the Xbox had been unconfirmed until now. Earlier today, Activision and id Software announced that Vicarious Visions will indeed be responsible for developing the Xbox version of Doom 3.

The PC version has been set for release in Q1 2004, but Activision provided no release date for the game on the Xbox.

PALGN will have more information on Doom 3 as it breaks.
