New MechAssault content on Xbox Live

Xbox News | The third batch of downloadable MechAssault content is now available on Xbox Live.
Without further ado:

---New maps---

Demolition Town (1499 blocks) - A 'dense, urban environment' with bridges connecting the rooftops of city blocks.

Rock Solid (1247 blocks) - It's an asteroid. Yep.

Jotenheim (Capture the Flag - 623 blocks) - A balanced terrain with a wintry theme.

---New Game Types---

Giant Killers - The gimmick here is a David vs. Goliath scenario except with lots of Davids. Many weak Mechs are pit against one all-powerful behemoth of a machine. The player that slays the Giant will assume its role in the next game, and so on.

Scout Match / Team Scout Match - Similar to the Destruction and Team Destruction game types, but you may only pilot the light Mechs: Corvus, Elemental, Hackman, Kit Fox, Owens, Raven, and Uller.

Skirmish / Team Skirmish - A variant on Destruction that limits 'Mech selection to Light and Medium classes only. That means the following are selectable: Corvus, Elemental, Hackman, Kit Fox, Owens, Raven, Uller, Cougar, Puma, Uziel, Belial, Vulture, Mad Dog, Thor, and Summoner.

So there you are. All you have to decide for yourselves is whether it's worth dusting off that MechAssault disc for more Mech action!
