In a recent interview with the Puget Business Journal of Seattle, Microsoft representative David Hufford revealed that “as of now, Half-Life 2 is not going to be on the Xbox.”
It’s a major blow for the console’s line-up as no other console could have accommodated the sprawling ‘one-level’ world that is Half-Life.
Mr. Hufford also went on to say that “Valve is sending us mixed messages” indicating that the anticipated second outing for Gordon Freeman will be a PC-only affair.
The bottom line is that unless something changes between Microsoft and Valve, Half-Life 2 will not be coming to Xbox.
