Burnout: Revenge game demonstration

Xbox Video Feature | Watch us tear up the road in style.
This marks the first in a new series of articles that you’ll be seeing on PALGN. We’ve teamed up with the guys from The Gaming Show to bring you a number of game demonstration videos. These video essentially contain us playing a game and talking about it at the same time, with the idea of giving you the same experience as if you were watching someone demo the game at a gaming event.

This video is of Burnout: Revenge. Released in October on Xbox and PlayStation 2, it received an awesome 9/10 from us here at PALGN.

The video demonstrates traffic checking, crash mode and good old road rage. If you haven’t bought the game it should give you a good idea on what you’re missing out on.

High Res (79MB)
Low Res (36MB) – Suitable for video iPods

Check back tomorrow when we demonstrate GTA: Liberty City Stories on the PSP.

Figures crossed that we don't kill the server with these huge files.

Very cool, I'm downloading the low res to save your servers, also it gives me something to watch on my iPod going to work icon_biggrin.gif Awesome work.

I look forward to watching it once it downloads over my slow 56k modem. icon_smile.gif

This article in general actually has quite a bit of potential. Maybe in the future to expand it, you could choose a game per week. Offer the video footage of PALGN playing it (just like you have now) and then give other people who own a Digital Camera and the game in question a chance to make their own movie files of them playing. Then at the end of the week, post another article on the site discussing everyone's 'runs' through the game and making comparisons and whatever.

Just a suggestion, naturally. icon_smile.gif

That was awesome, and hilarious. Crash mode meet's Murphy's law. icon_lol.gif

That literally had me in stiches.

And I like Nismo's idea. It could let many gamers out there show off their stuff.

Hey Guys,

Its Aaron from The Gaming Show, don't laugh to hard at me in crash mode, I'm usually better then that icon_smile.gif

If the Hi-Res seems to be a bit blurry for some its just because of the way we encoded the footage of the TV, it was our first go at that format. Hopefully after the GTA video we should have it all sorted out icon_smile.gif

Enjoy the video.

Aaron

I love your idea! I'd love to show you guys how to beat a Dante Must Die Mission in DMC3, or possibly show you all my 1337 voldo skilzlolol in Soul Calibur 2. I also just recently got a digital camera, but would have no clue how to use it to record footage.

But aside from that, I will download the video once I go to my uncles. He has cable, I do not. He's next door, so it's no problem.

I will just wait for the Gran Turismo demonstrations, shall I? icon_wink.gif

I haven't watched the video yet unfortunately as time has disappeared on me once again. I shall watch it (along with the next video) tomorrow night. icon_smile.gif
Oh, I am surprised that people like my idea too. I thought that people would just say that it is too much of a hassle.

Aaron, you need big 'L' plates when playing this game... icon_lol.gif Good video!

And Nismo's idea is great. I could record myself playing onto DVD and then transfer it to my PC.
