First screenshots of new Driver title

Xbox News | Something to look forward to?
Atari today unveiled the first images of Driver: Parallel Lines. They've been erring on the side of caution when it comes to mentioning too many details about the game, but they are promising the game will 'return to its roots'.

The game will include full online play, whilst Tanner has been eliminated from the title altogether, which is probably a good thing. The first images can be seen at in the Media Panel, and we promise not to make any further reference to the atrocity that was DRIV3R.

Driver 3 looked good all through development and then turned out to horrify every poor fool unfortunate enough to play it, myself included.

I don't care how promising this will look, Driver 3 taught me one valuable lesson and I'm not going to forget it on this title.

i think almost everyone will view future Driver games with caution now.

although we probably should have with Driv3r as well, given how average Driver 2 was.

I found Driver 2 to be brilliant personally. Much better than the original.

I'll keep an eye on this title and might even end up purchasing it at one stage but after Driv3r, it is impossible to have high hopes for it. Time will tell though.
