The Suffering: Ties that Bind classified

Xbox News | MA15+? Just...
This year is one of the most controversial for the Office of Film and Literature Classification - or OFLC, as they are affectionately known. With games getting more and more mature and seemingly more controversial, the OFLC has dealt with its fair share of criticism this year after banning NARC, and, currently, the of reviewing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas classification.

So when we heard about Midway's The Suffering: Ties that Bind, we couldn't help but feel that it would encounter its fair share of problems along the classification route. Red-Ant Software, who are publishing the title in Australia, have today confirmed for us that The Suffering: Ties that Bind has been classified MA15+.

PALGN can't help but feel that the game was pretty lucky to get the rating, as the game is promising to be one of the most gory adventures seen yet. The Suffering: Ties that Bind will be released for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox in September, 2005. We'll have more coverage of the title shortly.

this is the first i've even heard of this title...

i've not played the original "The Suffering" though... is it worth getting?

besides, everyone knows violence is perfectly fine, and normal even, for a child's development... but show them a boob or a pill and you've corrupted them for life...
