E3 2005: The Apprentice game announced

Xbox News | You're Fired!
Legacy Interactive announced today that it will be publishing an Apprentice video game for the Xbox and PSP.

"The Apprentice is an incredibly successful property that reaches the mass consumer on a global scale," said Ariella Lehrer, CEO of Legacy Interactive. "PC and console games provide a compelling medium to extend the show’s trademark storyline and to expand the franchise to new audiences."

The Apprentice video game takes players into the world of Donald Trump, giving players the opportunity to compete in corporate America's toughest job interview. Players take on the role of a hopeful show contestant going through each episode from the first task to the final boardroom showdown. And yes, it does include the words "You're fired."

"The Apprentice lends itself perfectly to the interactive entertainment medium," said Conrad Riggs, of Mark Burnett Productions. "We know fans of the show fantasize about what it must be like to take on Donald Trump’s challenges and face him the infamous boardroom, and now they will get that opportunity in the video game. It's going to be a wonderful complement to the television show."

Seems like they will turn anything into a game these days.
