The limited edition version will feature a second disc containing a behind the scenes ‘making of’ feature, a ‘RPG Elements in Jade Empire’ video feature, a bonus character and a bonus fighting style. In addition, Microsoft has also decided to add in two playable demos for Forza Motorsport and Mech Assault 2: Lone Wolf.
The bonus character, featured in the Limited Edition version, Monk Zeng, has the ability to channel his Chi (spiritual energy) to fuel powerful magic attacks that have the ability to manipulate both elemental and spiritual forces. Zeng can also equip himself with a special weapon called the monk spade, useful for slashing foes at a distance and dishing out lethal follow-up attacks.
Both editions of Jade Empire are due to be released in Spring with the standard edition setting gamers back £39.99, whilst the limited edition will retail at £44.99.
