Halo 2 In stock in Australia!

Xbox News | All we can say is, finally...

If you haven't heard about Halo 2 by now then we doubt you're even on this planet. In the past 24 hours Halo 2 has been in cinemas, on tv, in bus-stop signs, in retail outlets and even in the newspaper.

Last night saw the release of one of the biggest gaming releases of all time, Halo 2 was finally launched for the Xbox last night at Midnight and many gamers lined up for hours to get their copy. Aside from New Zealand, Australia was the first country to get a hold of the copy. Currently Halo 2 is ranked #2 on Gamerankings It is not only set to be the biggest gaming launch in history but to go down as one of the greatest games ever.

Approximately 150 retailers were open at midnight to sell the first copies of the game. Halo 2 is expected to generate more revenue in 24 hours than day one sales of any movie in entertainment history, and exceed the five million sales of the original Halo.

PALGN will have one of the first Australian verdicts in the coming days, let's just say that it is going to be very close to becoming our first 10/10. Keep checking back for updates as they become available.

Picked up my copy at 12:05, got home at 12:30, played Halo 2 till 3:30, went to bed at 4:00, woke up at 9:00, played Halo 2 till......

Awesome game, it's like a giant expansion pack of the first - good fun.
