Limited Edition Halo 2 Bundle Announced

Xbox News | Microsoft Announces Halo 2 Xbox Live Starter Kit exclusive to UK gamers.
Gearing up for the release of one of the most-anticipated games of the year, Halo 2, Microsoft has today announced an exclusive Halo 2 European limited edition retail offer available from the 11th November in the UK. The limited edition Halo 2 Xbox Live Starter Kit will contain a copy of Halo 2, an Xbox Live voice communicator and twelve months subscription to Xbox Live. The exclusive bundle will retail at the reasonable price of £59.99.

"Halo 2 is the most highly expected game this Christmas and this offer gives all gamers a great way to experience the best game on-line on Xbox Live" said Richard Teversham, Director of Xbox Product Marketing, EMEA. "It is a fantastic offer for gamers throughout Europe – the most talked-about Xbox game of 2004 and the best gaming experience available at the best value".

In other news, Microsoft were proud to announce today that the Xbox has enjoyed a 53% share of the UK market last week, an improvement of 49% compared to the previous week.

"This is fantastic news for Xbox – demonstrating its ever-strengthening position in the video game console market," said Michel Cassius, senior director, Xbox Platform and Marketing.

You can get a similar deal here in Australia too. If you pre-order Halo 2 at either EB or Kmart and leave a $50 deposit, you can get a Live Starter Kit for $49.95, instead of the usual $99.95.
