Ninja Gaiden Hurricane Pack Volume II now available

Xbox News | Tecmo delivers the second expansion pack for the hugely popular Ninja Gaiden.
Ninja Gaiden fans can rejoice as great news comes in the form of Tecmo's Hurricane Pack Volume II, which is now available as a free download for Xbox Live subscribers. The second expansion pack builds on the first by delivering even more fearsome enemies, raising the bar in difficulty to test your ninja manhood. The service pack is designed as the ultimate test for players in conjunction with the third Master Tournament.

The first expansion was well received in the Ninja Gaiden community, adding arguably the best free online content through Xbox Live to date. Although incredibly difficult, the first Hurricane Pack included multiple costumes, new enemies and weapons with the added pressure of getting that honourable rank of Master Ninja on every level. Not an easy task by any means.

So what are you waiting for, pull out that rusty sword and a handful of surikens, jump online and begin your quest to avenge the Hayabusa clan once more.

lol I sucked on the easy difficulty, how hard would the hardest difficulty be though. icon_eek.gif

I never manage to get off the easy setting of ANY game, so I'm not even going to pull the shrink wrap off this one!

Yikes, too think I only just started playing an unpatched normal game, maybe I should get to downloading the original hurricane pack and improve those camera difficulties that I am having.

The camera is annoying for the first few levels, but after a while you will get used to it. When the action starts to get really intense, you’ll appreciate the auto-camera. The new camera system certainly makes the game more "user friendly", but exploration becomes a little easy (hidden items etc).

As for the difficulty, the expansion packs aren't really for designed for first time players! icon_smile.gif If you plan to start playing expansion off the bat, you’re in for steep learning curve.
