Bungie quashes Halo 2 rumours

Xbox News | It's not coming to Gamecube apparently...
In an amusing little article posted on the developer's site, Bungie have taken the time to dissect a selection of the rumours that have circulated since the announcement of Halo 2's existence.

And the hearsay that Bungie clears up ranges from the plain silly to the almost believable. In the course of the article, the Washington-based devco confirms that there isn't a four-player co-op mode, that the Bungie.net clan and stat features will not require a paid subscription, that there won't be bots in the multiplayer game and that 16 participants really is the limit on Xbox Live deathmatches (which reminds us: lying is bad, Mr Allard).

All things that any reasonably informed gamer would know already, but it's worth a read for amusement value. Point your PAL browsers here.
