Xbox Live launch lineup announced

Xbox News | Microsoft announces the range of games with which you will be able to infiltrate the world of cyberspace come March 14th and the launch of Xbox Live.
Yes, it's creeping up on us! Xbox Live's launch is now a mere few weeks away and today Microsoft told us what we'll be able to play on our brand spanking new Live kits. Nothing really earth-shattering, but you can start drawing up your shopping lists and breaking open your piggy banks based on THIS information.

When you buy a Live pack you'll get free special demo versions of the exciting-sounding MechAssault, the disappointly blandly named Moto GP and the heart-stoppingly onomatapaeic delights of Whacked!. The exclamation mark makes all the difference, methinks. But, in addition to this veritable treasure chest of delights, the following online-enabled games will be available at retail on 14th March:

# "MechAssault" (Microsoft Game Studios)

# "Unreal Championship" (Infogrames Inc)

# "Tom Clancy's Ghost ReconTM" (Ubi Soft Entertainment)

# "Whacked!" (Microsoft Game Studios)

# "NFL Fever 2003" (Microsoft Game Studios)

# "Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO" (Capcom)

In addition to this (you want more? Well you got it! You lucky, lucky people) the following games, also available on or before the 14th March, allow downloadable online content via Xbox Live.

# "Tom Clancy's Splinter CellTM" (Ubi Soft Entertainment)

# "ToeJam and Earl III: Mission to Earth" (Sega Europe)

# "MX Superfly" (THQ)

There's one very obvious game missing from that lineup.
