Awesome, totally sweet.

Know if there's any plans for a demo? I've personally never played a DMC game and I wouldn't pick this one up without having had a chance to try it out.

There should be a demo before release. We may do a comparison review but from what I've heard the differences are very very minor, I believe the PS3 version of DMC4 has "accomplishments" rather than achievements as well.

Damn, this comes out about 5 days before I'm overseas for 5 weeks so I'm going to have to skip it till i get back. From all the trailers it's looking really good. Can't wait to give the demo a try once it's out

The PS3 version also has no load times as it dumps 5GB on your HD (which apparently will take around 20min in final version - while it plays a slide show of images and re-caps the story (in text) previous DMC installments.)

I gotta say I wasn't very positive about DMC4 when I saw some early footage. But now with the recent trailers and vids it just looks stunning. Bring on the button mashing!!

Maikii: I don't think you could claim it will have no load time even after a small hard-drive install but the time should definately be improved. icon_smile.gif

In the absence of Metal Gear Devil May Cry is my favourite game series. I can't wait for DMC4.

If I had a calendar I'd be marking off days. I'll have to go for a quick run through DMC3 while I'm waiting, to see if I can wrap my head around the controls again before being saddled with a Dante with real-time weapon and style switch icon_dumb.gif

I pre-order the "Collectors Editions" of the game last week. One for the PS3 (mine) and one for my friend (360 version) from ebgames and I am I to believe that both editions just have a metal case and an artbook only?

Like, it doesn't come with the making of, behind the scenes, trailers, etc extras? Because I may cancel it and get the standard edition then. A metal box and a picture book only? Pfft. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Also, I find it funny too that my receipt says it is the limited edition on it. I am just paranoid now because PALGN release dates states there is a "Collectors Edition" and the other is a "Limited Edition". Is there a difference or anything?

Yep, it's just the really ugly Metal Box and the Artbook. I'd like the Artbook, but somebody will probably have it scanned and on the internet shortly after it comes out so it's really not worth it. I don't think there's any difference between Collector's and Limited Edition.

Just be glad we didn't get the American Collector's Edition. They get a DVD of extras, which is nice, but they also have the atrocious DMC anime foisted upon them and have to pay $20 more for it.

Clearly, you don't know how to play DMC properly icon_wink.gif

Yeah I'm absolutely mega pumped for this. The story looks good this time round too, and I'm hyped as hell for Dante's new weapons. Some of them look wicked and I'm just imagining huge combo opportunities.

That and Neros arm. That arm..looks awesome.

Aww man. That sucks ass. A metal tin and and childish picture book. That is so jipped. Yes the anime was total garbage but they still get it, the making of stuff, downloadable crap and the OST thingy. 20 bucks extra would be ok for extra junk.

I just really feel a little angry. I mean, when you know that there is a better version out there with more available (even if it is filled with crap), I still want it. No one wants to feel heavily ripped off. I feel ripped off already because I am buying from ebgames!

That version is up for AUS$90, so not exactly a ripoff in comparison...
