Burnout Paradise demo released

360 News | Take a drive to Paradise.
As promised last week, a demo for Burnout Paradise is now up on the Xbox Live Marketplace, with the PlayStation Network demo expected later in the day.

The Xbox 360 demo comes in at 853MB and is exclusive to gold users for a little while. The demo lets players cruise around Paradise City exploring Motor City, Big Surf Beach and Ocean View. If you've downloaded the demo, why not let us know what you think about it in the forums?

This game is realy polished and kicks the sh*t out of Pro Street.

Just went online with three friends, and this game is AMAZING fun - even though we were just free roaming around the city, chasing each other for takedowns. Had some truly memorable moments - this game had better have a robust replay option when released.

I got the 360 version and was quite impressed! I will be a bit disappointed if there isn't a dedicated crash mode, that was a great stress reliever in the other burnouts. There was a mention of various other game modes in the trailer tho, so there's still some hope!

I'm happy with both versions in terms of quality, but the driving around the city to find the challenges mildly annoys me. It's something that's done in NFS and doesn't need to be here for Burnout. Burnout has always been about the visceral challenge rather than having a cohesive story to hold it together.

Still - definitely one for my collection when it comes out.
