GripShift coming to Xbox Live Arcade

360 News | Coming next month.
Developer Sidhe Interactive today announced that GripShift (which is already available on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable) will be making its way to Xbox Live Arcade.

In GripShift, players race around tracks collecting stars and hidden GP logos while trying to beat a timer. The XBLA version will apparently feature a new Deathmatch mode, updated graphics, new race tracks, online leaderboards and unlockable achievements.

"Veteran players and newcomers to the game will both find something to love in this definitive version of GripShift," Mario Wynands, Managing Director of Sidhe Interactive stated. "We've added a substantial amount of new content, including new single player courses and a multiplayer Deathmatch mode for players bent on dominating their friends or climbing to the top of the leaderboards."

GripShift is expected to release sometime next month. In the meantime, check out some screens from the game in the media panel below.

Had a bit of fun with this on the PSP. Will probably make a worthwhile purchase if it's priced correctly!

Trackmania would make an excellent XBL port me thinks! I'm really surprised this hasn't already happened to be honest.
