Now I actually want GH3! icon_biggrin.gif
Packaging three songs from the same artist is better than the random GH2 song packs.

Agreed. But I think I'll play the game a bit more before I start buying more tunes for it.

THese are up on the US PS Store also (US$6.25 per pack)- so will prob be in AUs store next week.

If you read, Maikii wrote per pack.

Damned US! I got the PS3 version and they got their DLC (not to mention a certain region locked demo, lest someone starts crying), and we got nothin.
I really, REALLY want that Foo Fighters pack!

Looks like i'll not be buying any DLC for GH3, just like I didn't for GH2. The Foo fighters pack sounds good but 500 points for 3 songs it just a rip off.

Of course, you can buy stuff from the US store you know.

Considering the extra work that has to go into a GHIII track (ie mocapping the singer), I think the price is all right. I will admit I was hoping for cheaper though.

For anybody less than the Foo Fighters, yes.

Bummer the Wii version hasn't got any downloadable content. I think what's holding this back is the fact that perhaps Nintendo hasn't finalised the micro transaction process yet on this front. It'll happen evntually. Are they waiting to implement this with WiiWare? I hope it doesn't take them that long!

We're already paying for Virtual Console titles, so why not go the extra mile?

Then again, my only guess is the fact that having downloadable content only for one game would mean a diversion in financial infrastructure which would only be justified on a larger scale. ie. WiiWare.

Or they're just waiting for Activision to add some sort of a work-around patch to the Wii version of Guitar Hero III.

They cold as ice for staying quiet about this!

i actually don't think the price is too bad this time around, if only because the packs are thematically linked.

i much prefer them released this way (and likewise the 'My Chemical Romance' pack for GH2) since chances are you'll like them all, or none. so as a consumer i can choose to get the Foo Fighters pack and get 3 decent songs, and choose to ignore the My Chemical Romance pack and avoid 3 sh*tty ones in the one move.

much better then releasing 3 packs with 1 FF, 1 VR and 1 MCR song each.

What are we coming to when an Aussie site makes use of incorrect American conventions like 'off of'? What's next, 'different than'? Reading this sort of thing just grates, I'm sorry.

You can only buy off of (lol couldn't resist) the US PS store with an American credit card, or one of those PS store cards, of which I have neither, and must wait :/
Also, a major factor in no DLC for Wii would be the miniscule size of the harddrive, It still does my head in. 512MB? What were you THINKING Nintendo!?!?!?

Yeah, what he said ... I would've put 'EDIT' in the sentence, but I guess that what the Edit tag is for ...
