Eternal Sonata demo released

360 News | Available for download now on the 360.
A demo for the highly anticipated RPG Eternal Sonata is now available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The download weighs in at 584MB.

After being available in the US for so long, it's quite possible that some Aussies have given in to temptation and downloaded it off the US Marketplace - but for those who haven't, finally they have the opportunity to experience the magical RPG that features music from the composer Chopin.

In the demo, you'll be able to explore the Path to Tenuto, Tenuto Village and Heaven’s Mirror Forest with three of the games main characters, Polka, Allegretto and Beat. The game is scheduled to come out some time in the next couple of weeks, so get downloading.

Took them long enough. I picked up the demo months ago (fake Japanese account). It's pretty solid - far better than the Blue Dragon demo.

I wish they'd actually commit to a solid date for us. I've seen everything from this Friday to late November thrown around.

There's no real spoilers in the Eternal Sonata demo. All you really get to do is fight some enemies and roam around a town. Nothing story centric.

I got this demo from America months back. It's decent but it has no plot to it at all lol.

This game appears to be delayed unfortunately. EB now saying Nov 8 instead of Oct 26.

Eternal Sonata is going to be the best RPG to come along in a long, long time. I'm not basing this on the demo.

^ I wouldn't go on to make a call like that, but with an absolutely stunningly beautiful art direction and a story that is musically influenced by Chopin, you can't go wrong. I played the demo back when it was released on the US marketplace and I loved every second of it, even if it wasn't really showing anything to do with the story or the game overall. Hell, even if the game sucks I'd play through it just to see every location in that brilliant art direction. It's simply gorgeous. icon_smile.gif

Everything I've heard said this games only flaw is it ends too soon. It's apparently very short for an RPG.

But hey, this game is most of the reason I got a 360 at all ^_^
