Bladestorm demo released

360 News | Time to take history into your own hands... again.
Today Koei has revealed that a demo of Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War is now available for download on both the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network.

Bladestorm: The Hundred Years' War is set in medieval Europe and features several historic figures including Joan of Arc and Prince Edward. In the game, players take control of these characters and assist either the French or English armies using gameplay mechanics similar to the Dynasty Warriors series.

The demo weighs in at a heavy 1.9GB while the full game is expected to be released sometime in November.

I didn't mind Nintendo making the Wii abit less powerful, but I regretted the not including more internal memory.

^ That's a bit of a random comment, but yes, it is a shame that we can't download Wii game demos.

Interestingly, the Bladestorm demo on PS3 is a lot smaller than the 360 one. Seems like they've released rather different demos for each console, even though it's the same game. The 360 is enormous!

Has anyone played it yet?
Is it just another version of Dynasty Warriors? I can't say I'm a huge fan of the Dynasty Warriors series, so any feedback before I download it would be appreciated icon_smile.gif

^ It's more like Kessen if you've played that. You control a group of people rather than one person, and use one of 4 attacks at any one time. You play a mercenary in a France vs England war so you can choose sides. It feels more tactical than a Warriors game thankfully. I enjoyed the demo, though I'm not sure what needed the 2gig!
