Medal of Honor Airborne has just been released for Xbox 360 and is set for release on PlayStation 3 on December 6. The game puts you into the boots of Boyd Travers, a private first class of the 82nd Airborne Division. Airborne is rather different to your typical World War II first person shooter - rather than start on the ground (pfft, last generation) you'll begin your battles by parachuting onto the battlefield.
That's right, missions begin in the air and it's completely up to the player where they parachute into the level. You can survey the whole area and make a judgement based on your observation where to begin a level, bringing a whole new level of freedom to Medal of Honor Airborne and World War II shooters in general. Airborne also allows players to customise and upgrade their weapons, so that pistol you begin with will soon look a lot deadlier.
We're not just going to give you the consoles for free though - no we want to make sure you've worked for it. Medal of Honor: Airborne allows you to parachute anywhere you want into the battlefield, so "If you had to enter a battlefield in the middle of a war, what approach would you use?” The two most humorous entries will win themselves a Medal of Honor themed Xbox 360 (as well as some new friends we'd assume), and three runner ups will score themselves a copy of Medal of Honor: Airborne on Xbox 360. Fill in your details here to enter. Entries must be 25 words or less.
PALGN would like to thank EA for the prizes. For some inspiration, why not read our review of Medal of Honor: Airborne?
