PES 2008 dated for Australia

360 News | Not long now.
Atari and Konami have confirmed via a press release that Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 will be available in stores on the 2nd of November for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PC and the PlayStation 2.

Those waiting for the portable versions will have to wait until December, as Atari has stated the Nintendo DS and PSP versions will follow in December. PES 2008 looks like it is going to be quite a title, for more information on the game why not head over to our preview.

The trailers make the game look a bit 'meh' IMO. I wish they would focus on a next gen only PES. Well, I guess it's better then FIFA still icon_smile.gif

Its all about PES for me. I have downloaded the Fifa demo from the US store and thought it was extremely average. Mabye its my pro evo bias kicking in but this game WILL be better than the latest fifa instalment.

Only FIFA 08 has the A-League in it. Pro Evo won't.

But edit mode is back in...so we could well see some person(s) on the interwebs create an option file containing all 8 teams, hopefully by the end of the year.

I don't think people buy PES for which leagues are in or out of it each year. Gameplay is it's strongpoint, not content.
