Space Giraffe and Street Trace: NYC coming to XBLA tomorrow

360 News | Both will cost 800 points each.
It seems like another good week for the Xbox Live Arcade with Microsoft's Larry Hyrb revealing on his blog that this week's Xbox Live Arcade titles will be Space Giraffe and Street Trace: NYC.

Space Giraffe is an arcade shooter from Jeff Minter and the developer Llamasoft. In Space Giraffe you take control of a vehicle across 100 levels. Street Trace: NYC is best described as Back to the Future meets the Xbox 360. In the game you race around on hoverboards, and as you progress you'll be able to upgrade your boards and weapons while also racing your friends online.

Street Trance: NYC looks an awful lot like that old PC/DC hoverboard game, Trickstyle. Lets hope that the similarity is only skin-deep, 'cause Trickstyle blew chunks (technical term).

Trickstyle got the better name though... Street Trance: NYC? FAIL!

I haven't had a chance to try out the games yet but I just checked the marketplace and Space Giraffe is only 400 points, which is good for me since its the title I'm more interested in icon_razz.gif

Ill be downloading both titles tomorrow though and most likely buying both of the full versions on Friday.

Space Giraffe is pretty much what you would get if you took Guitar Hero, make it a shmup, invert the colours every two seconds and slap J Allard's face in the background.

My God, my head hurts.
