The word has filtered through that the Midway and John Woo collaboration, the action-based shooter named Stranglehold, has had a demo released onto the Xbox Live Marketplace. The demo weighs in at a rather hefty 1.28GB, so it would have been nice if they told us what was in it. Still, we can guarantee that you'll be able to destroy a lot of stuff.
As we've already covered, Stranglehold is a no-holds-barred action shooter that is actually a follow-up to the 1992 Hong Kong action classic, Hardboilded, which was directed by John Woo and stared Chow Yun-Fat. We have not one but two hands-on previews of the game, and don't forget to look for our review when the game is released in early September.
