This is the first auto-update for the game, with another one due shortly. There are quite a few fixes in the auto update. Firstly, you won't be able to resell a car with a locked paint job. Apparently some cheaters were replicating vehicles the original artist of the paintjob had to compete in the auction house with their own designs. The only way you can sell or gift a car with a locked livery is by being the original owner / artist of the car.
The Lotus Elan has been banned temporarily and cannot be used online. According to Turn10 "There is an error with the Lotus Elan's performance index calculation that puts the car at a lower class despite its capabilities, resulting in the Elan mass dominating the scoreboards in D and C class." The ban will not allow you to upload lap times to the scoreboards when you use the car in career mode, you also won't be able to use the Lotus at all in online races.
From now on you'll also be able to fully rotate a vehicle whilst viewing it in the auction house, this means you'll be able to look at the paintjob on the roof of the car. Scoreboard problems have also been fixed as well as glitches. The host isn't allowed to boot players during a race either as hosts were kicking players who were in the lead of a race when the stakes were high. The host can still kick people in the lobby.
Downloadable content is definitely on the way as well. On the official site a community update states "we definitely have DLC up our sleeves and will release a series of car packs and new tracks starting in August and running probably through a good chunk of fall. Forza Motorsport 2 is definitely here to stay. We're also going to continually keep an eye on community and its successes and problems, patching and tweaking where we need to and rewarding those who are especially helpful or give back to the community."
