Blue Dragon dated for Australia

360 News | Out late next month.
Microsoft has confirmed today that Blue Dragon is set for release on the 30th of August, a week later than we've previously reported in our release list.

The good news is that the game will retail for $99.95. Blue Dragon is an exclusive RPG for the Xbox 360 and contains music by Nobuo Uematsu, the composer for Final Fantasy. Look out for our review next month.

My thoughts exactly. Sucks but I spose it will be only the more exciting when it arrives. The anime has been pumping me up for it alot.

interesting ive only heard good things about this game, isnt it like singlehandedly holding up the 360 in japan?

^ Thats correct, I think it was holding up to 45% of the sales of the 360 if I'm right? But anyway in Japan they had 10,000 copies for preorder and they all sold out.

If we only get the american voice then there's no way in hell I'll get this game. Americans can't do voice acting to save their lives, they suck at it and it's much more fun not knowing what to do than listening to their horribly matched voices.

Do you American's in JRPGs or all Americans in all games?

Am I the only one that thought Sylar was talking to himself there?

Thats good cos it means i can play bioshock and finish it then get stuck into blue dragon. I only have enough money for 1 of the games on launch unless someone buys my games for sale lol. I cant wait for both of them but i think i will get bioshock first, then blue dragon once i've finished it.

Pretty much anything that gets translated from japanese to american, in particular anime and JRPGs. Obviously there are a few exceptions but most only provide adequate or at best a good voice acting performance. Where as I find the japanese voices much more beleivable or at least better suited to the characters and I also get a much better sense of immersion from the japanese voice acting (even though I can't speak japanese).

I would also like to know the answer to this question.

The extra week is good for me. Gives me more time to get/find/earn some monies. Let me know if you spot a rainbow.

I'll be laying my pre-order down tomorrow, lucky Im getting a bonus from work so that will pay for this and a few other things

Doesnt faze me that the games been moved back 6 days, thats not that long. Will give me more time to play some of the other titles in my collection.
