E3 2007: First Need for Speed ProStreet vehicles revealed

EA has confirmed some of the very first vehicles that will appear in Need for Speed ProStreet, the next title in EA's hugely successful Need for Speed franchise.

ProStreet will feature a car list that spans over 40 years of automotive history. Headlining the cars is the Nissan GT-R Proto. The Proto was first revealed at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show and ProStreet is the first fully packaged videogame to feature the vehicle.

Other cars confirmed to be in the game include:

  • 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda
  • 1995 Mazda RX-7
  • 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse
  • 2006 Audi S4
  • 1986 Toyota Corolla GTS AE86
  • 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer EVOLUTION IX MR-edition
  • 2006 Volkswagen Golf GTI
  • 2008 BMW M3

Im real looking forward to this title. I didnt buy Carbon on ps3 as i was waiting for a new version. And here it is. Will be interesting to see who wins this or Juiced 2

I think ProStreet will beat Juiced 2. It's lookin heaps kool even though I don't really like racing games...
