Pre E3 2007: Condemned 2 screens released

360 News | Suffering from bloodshot eyes after last night?
Sega have released four new screenshots for Condemned 2: Bloodshot, all of which can be viewed in the media panel below.

Currently in development for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, Condemned 2: Bloodshot follows the story of Ethan Thomas, a former Serial Crimes Unit investigator, who has been called back to duty in order to locate his missing partner. As Ethan, players will utilise a range of firearms, blunt instruments and forensic tools in order to track down the killer and solve the mysteries behind the game. Apparently, murders will be able to be solved in several different ways and will "keep players guessing throughout each suspenseful investigation."

yEa i'm really really looking foward to this, the atmosphere in Condemned was so awesome (especially the last 3 stages) and the weapons have been some of the most satisfying i've ever used in a game.

Personally I didn't mind the linear forensic investigations from the 1st game but I did pine for more variety in the melee combat, which seems to be something they are addressing this time around (on both counts actually).

Also the unlockables and enemies in the 1st game were hella awesome....I remember some of the cool enemy artwork and I hope they have designed some more crazy junkie types for this next game.

Sequels never 'woo' you like the original though.

Certainly hoping that these early screens aren't indicative of any graphical upgrades they're planning, because so far it looks nigh identical to the first. Not that the first wasn't excellent, in fact I loved it to bits (tense as Hell and twice as scary), but I'd like to see some more polish on the graphical front.

Doesn't look any different in terms of graphics, but that last pictture with the black melting guy seems promosing. LEt's hope it improves most things icon_smile.gif

I remember playing condemned for the first time in the dark on a huge HDTV. I actually felt physically ill playing it as it just felt so realistic with the motion and its visuals and sound.

Will be real interesting to see how they improve this game.I hope it has more gunplay also or at least a bit more variety in the melee combat like jumpkicks, running through fibro walls and bone snappage.
I'll just have to make sure I have a bucket next to me this time just in case icon_razz.gif .
