Small amounts of PGR4 information revealed

360 News | Apparently we can expect some cars.
Information on Project Gotham Racing 4 has been ever so slim but Bizarre Creations has shed a little more light on the game today with a press release outlining a few tidbits of information. Firstly, the weather system has had a lot of thought put into it. For example, if it begins to snow, then drifting is obviously going to be a little bit different.

There will be a total of ten cities in the game with the Nurburgring, Quebec and St. Petersburg all confirmed to be locations you'll be racing through. In Project Gotham Racing 2 players were able to race in Sydney, so we're crossing our fingers that Australia will feature again in the game in some way.

Seven vehicles have also been confirmed for the game, these include the '62 Ferrari 250 GTO, '67 Toyota 2000GT, '78 Lamborghini Countach LP400, '98 Subaru Impreza 22B STi, ‘04 BMW M5, '07 Ruf RGT 997 and the '07 Lotus GT3RR. More information on the cars and the tracks is set to be released very shortly, so once we find out more we'll let you know.

Nurburgring... a city? I thought the city was Nurburg and the track was the Nurburg Ring. Oh, who am I kidding, I've got no idea.

Anyway, Lamborghini Countach makes it a winner for me. Besterest car ever.

That's correct. The track is the Nürburgring in the town of Nürburg. The big f'er of a track (the 23km one) is the Nordschleife.

You're pretty much on the money. All the cities from PGR 3 will be returning (read that somewhere recently) and obviously Quebec and St. Petersburg have been confirmed. Nurburgring is also there obviously, although don't count it as one of the 'cities' so that adds another possible place for another unconfirmed city. Shanghai has been rumoured and I'd dare say that yes it will be in the game and if not Shanghai, then I reckon Hong Kong will return. Hopefully an Australian city (Sydney being the obvious bet) will be in there. And what's this crap about a developer created track?

Hey nismo, the developer created track will be like a test track or training track of sorts similar to Nurburgring except it won't be an actual real world location.

This also pretty much rules out that it will be another city.

^Since when has a Project Gotham game had a test track, or 'developer' track though?

There's the test track by the showroom in PGR2... not openly playable though I spose.

I echo the hopes for Sydney, it's probably my favourite city in PGR2, there're some awesome tracks in there.

True, but it was only in PGR 2 (as far as I know) and it was so small that it would never be considered a 'city', or at least be in place at the expense of one anyway.
