World in Conflict coming to the Xbox 360

360 News | Cause carnage on your console.
Vivendi has confirmed to Eurogamer that World in Conflict which was originally expected to be available for the PC only is also coming to the XBox 360.

A Vivendi spokesperson told Eurogamer that they "can confirm we will be publishing World in Conflict for 360, and we will announce details soon".

It's unknown whether the Xbox 360 version of the game will come out next to the PC version, which is due out in September but Vivendi are likely to shed a little more light on the title very soon. World in Conflict is a real time strategy title that includes eight versus eight online battles.

EB Aust. Online have it dated for 1/2/2008.
Very much looking forward to
it. Saw PC version on good game looked awesome. Very impressive plot structure and overflowing with action.
COD4 trailer was mega-sweet as well, great P.O.V. for both games im sick of being a Yankee war hero in games, Some cold war FPS' will be a fresh change along with getting to play as the Russians too, thats so damn COOL!!!

I heard you can't play as the Russians in the Single Player mode which really blows.

Nonetheless I've been looking forward to this for awhile. My PC is about 5 years old so to be able to play it on Xbox 360 is bliss.

LOL Ps3, Whats is a Ps3 Anyway???
Not much more than a waste of 400w of electricity i.m.h.o..
Like sony gives a rats pooper if they annoy anyone.
Theyre not being contraversial in any way it just proves theyre corporate arrogance, and denies them any credibility they once deserved.
When "once upon a time" sony actually made some of the best AUDIO Gear on the market, They've totally lost their edge as a consumer friendly company and I hope they can pick up their game, I think they will slowly draw to bankruptcy in due time though.
Dont get me wrong, I just really hate Sony though, thats just how it goes when your 3rd outta the gate and you try and mimic 1st and 2nd give me break, those fools at sony have NO CLUE! Eeeeeeeeeddddiooooots!
I wish one day for a world less of sonys visual appliances and hope they go back to doing what they did best.
[Their CRT TVs were great but bravia lcd/plasma + 1st gen Ps2s made sony look like crap through my eyes.]
my 1st gen couldnt read 480p and was a $320 machine rendered useless after they were developing on later systems with better lasers, id like to know how many people sony screwed out of a gen 1 console, within the 100,000 units market at the bare minimum id say.
No way id trust those grass cutters again though, after xbox made all my gaming easy again id never go back to sony.
