Hour of Victory demo coming Wednesday

360 News | We're not sure at what hour though.
Midway has confirmed via a press release that the official demo for Hour of Victory will be available on the Xbox Live marketplace on Wednesday, 30th of May. The demo will give players a sneak peak into the North African level.

You'll be able to pick any of the three characters in the game, the Covert Operative, specializing in stealth and sabotage; a British Commando specializing in the guns-blazing frontal assault; or an Army Ranger who specializes in sniping and demolitions.

Hmm I saw the video of this game and the different routes you can go using the different characters. Looks nice but BAH!! seems like the 10,000 other WWII shooters I have played.
Also the different characters/routes looks pretty tacky to me and not that great.Rope descent Vs frontal assault..whoopee...*groan*

The one thing I like is the AI, apparently the enemies will never be in the same place so you'll always be on your toes.
Just hope they make them smarter than what I saw on the vid, as they were basically standing bullet magnet idiots.

Did anyone downoad this?

Didn't know it is out yet, I'll have a look and download it and be back with the lowdown.
(I just hope it is not the snow cable car level as I have basically seen all that level from all the different character routes)

EDIT: 937.62 meg OMFG!! icon_eek.gif

EDIT 2: Utter crap, for an unreal 3 powered game it sure looks average.
And there is something terribly wrong with the balance between X and Y axis sensitivity looking fast left and right but really slow up and down with no way to adjust sensitivity on either Y or X.
Gunplay is also tacky and seen a million times before. Also the way the camera moves when you run just seems awkward.

Honestly I couldn't play more than 2 minutes as the control just put me off I just couldn't be bothered going any further.

Gimme my 1 gig back telstra!! I got ripped off!
