Four-player co-op mode confirmed for Haze

360 News | Things become clearer.
According to Eurogamer Free Radical's futuristic shooter Haze will feature a four player co-op mode for both single player and multiplayer.

Studio boss David Doak confirmed the tidbit of information at the Paris Ubidays conference just recently, stating that the game is "not just about war itself, it's about your perception of war". Haze should be on the showfloor at Ubidays, so expect some new media to arrive on the game very shortly.

This looks pretty ok (for a console FPS).

It looks like hot ****, and 4 player co-op is just awesome to hear. I know the only way to do multiplayer for me is with friends in the same room, and I always enjoyed co-op Halo, for example, more than splitscreen deathmatch. Should be a great game.

4 player co-op sounds incredibly awesome, so does the look of the game. I hate to say it, but this looks like what Perfect Dark Zero should have been. It's a silly rhetoric, but I'm starting to think maybe Free Radical took more from Rare than just manpower after all.

Come to think of it, doesn't the latest Haze trailer showcase a Datadyne-esque corporation (though in a less subtle and ridiculous manner than PDZ)?

Ahh, this is good news! I'm personally looking forward to Haze, and its shaping up to be quite a sleeper hit.
