Crackdown downloadable content sneak peak

360 News | Buggies with weapons?
It's been a few months since Crackdown was released and Microsoft has kept pretty quiet on downloadable content. Real Time World's staff member Agent G has posted a sneak peak at the downloadable content on the official Crackdown forums.

The poster states the new piece of content is coming "soon". "Essentially you are going to see a new game type and a new type of vehicle". Based on the image (which can be seen in our media panel, we'd bank on buggies and a new race type. Unfortunately more information on the content wasn't revealed, but we should know "soon".

Umm I hope there's something more exciting than just buggies especially if I have to pay for the extra content.

Something more exciting than Dune-Buggies with cannons mounted on top? This idea is foreign to me... Tell me, what land of miraculous wonders do you hail from Sir, where one can find wonders more exciting than armed dune-buggies?

I too would like something more substantial than a new vehicle... but at the same time they're freaking dune-buggies! icon_wink.gif

Well I guess we'll have to drive them alongside that carnival in Los Muertos. That's the biggest beach in the game from memory.

The extra content will be free since Real Time Worlds said they would add in the extra 100 achievement points with the update... bringing it up to the full 1000 points.

They can only charge if it brings the points up to 1250.

In that case awesome icon_smile.gif The game did need a little more content hopefully this extra content makes it a little more worthwhile purchase.

People also seem to think there's a possibility of four player co-op, along with all the other things the game was missing (like the ability to turn the generals back on).

Doesn't playing the game with "crimes on" after you've finished it bring back all the kingpins? >_>

Would it be possible to have bonus achievements added even if they are for 0 points?

Something like that would be a plus.Especially to give a game further longevity.Would be nice to see some more stuff to do in crackdown as well as other games.

Oh also.......DUNE BUGGIES!!! VroooOOOMMM!!

It will add 100 gamerpoints, since Crackdown currently only has 900 points in it.

As much as this will make me out to be a massive Gamerscore whore or whatever, the 0 point achievements are pointless if you ask me. As are the stupid 'secret' ones.
