Halo 3 multiplayer footage leaked

360 News | Exposed three weeks before start of beta.
We've still got over three weeks before we get our Halo 3 multiplayer beta on, but leaked footage of Bungie's massively anticipated shooter has already found its way onto the internet.

Which is very naughty, obviously, but we wouldn't be doing our duty if we didn't inform you of its existence. The seven minute video, which is currently available for public viewing on all manner of video-sharing sites, depicts a multiplayer match on the Zanzibar remake level, now known as Last Resort. And that "Bubble Shield"? It's looking mighty nice.

You can see the entire thing here on YouTube, accompanied by music that will make your ears bleed. Enjoy.

It's fantastic to watch if you mute it and ad in your own sound effects. icon_razz.gif

Whoa, way to butcher 'Twisted Nerve' (it's the song Black Mamba whistles in Kill Bill Volume 1)

That footage makes me wish I hadn't sold off my copy of Crackdown icon_confused.gif

I guess YouTube doesn't really do any justice to the visual quality of the game.

The graphics look very last-gen otherwise.

It's also on GameVideos in a higher quality, but same size. Looks alot better than the 360, period.

you'll find that any vids you see of the mp will be basic graphics - they announced that with the beta release that this is only to get the feel of the game - dont take what you see as their last effort to make it look good-they still have a bit of time to make the eye candy up, right now - they have concerns about online play etc - to make sure their coding will be 100% .....

I like the video but doesnt currently offer anything i havent seen before, i just hope that they do provide the 'eye candy' that will seperate this from any other fps.

i will hunt down some info, but i recall some thing saying that the original multiplayer vid was based on what they had at the time, which is what the mp beta live is about, but not with great graphics, they only giving the taste of what gameplay will feel like not what it will look like. its all about what comes back from the beta live, so they know where to go with it, i mean its not like they can change much in the release window, but no point spicing up the graphics, and then someone going, woops that wont work, i think they want to hit this solid on head, once only.
