Boom Boom Rocket explodes on XBLA

360 News | Rhythm music number from creators of Geometry Wars.
Boom Boom Rocket is now up on the Xbox Live Arcade in virtually every country but Australia and New Zealand, though the title is expected to reach down under in the very near future.

Developed by Project Gotham Racing and Geometry Wars maestros Bizarre Creations, the game has players triggering rockets to the beat of the music, while travelling through a 3D cityscape. The better the player times the explosions, the more spectacular the fireworks effects. Parappa meets Fantavision, in other words.

800 Microsoft Points to you good people, and head to the Media Panel for a selection of headache-inducing screens.

This certainly sounds interesting, but no where near enough to buy a Xbox360 for.
