The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles now on Xbox Live

360 News | Available for 2,400 points.
The full expansion to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, titled Shivering Isles, is now available to download on the Xbox Live Marketplace for a whopping 2,400 Microsoft points.

It's the first full expansion pack for Oblivion, and allows access to Sheogorath's home. It also includes over a dozen new creatures, as well as new challenges. And, although it may be one of the most expensive products released on the Marketplace to date, the thirty hours worth of gameplay means the download is well worth it for Oblivion fans. Expect a review soon.

PS3 version definitely the way to go, considering this is included, and the graphics have had an extra layer of polish.

I did read it, I just didn't see the little bit of text under the picture icon_redface.gif

Incorrect. The Knights of the Nine downloadable content was included with the PS3 version, but there is no word as yet if SI will see a PS3 release.

Really? Well Knights of the Nine is obviously what I was thinking of. My bad.

Still though, if you really enjoyed Oblivion and can't get enough, then Shivering Isles would definitely be worth your money, plus achievement points for the whores.

I really wish you could get more single player content for some of the other 360 games. I would buy for Dead Rising, Lost Planet, Gears of War and Prey in a heartbeat!

And yea I understand it's because Oblivion isn't really online....but it would still be good. Hopefully that co-op mode for Dead Rising is a reality.

I doubt that it will be included in the ps3 title since tis susposed to be comming out next month, but i hope that they include it soon at the psn store. And also hope that they do have that extra polish that was mentioned before.

Im going to get this next week. Ive been really craving some more Oblivion action. Just curious though, being such a large expansion - how big exactly is the download?

Less than a gig i've heard

Umm... I checked when I got home from work and it wasn't there. That was about 30 mins before Live went down.

993.75MB. Rather small, all things considered.

I managed to get 995 MB out of 997 MB downloaded before Xbox Live went down for maintenance.

That's just plain mean.

Someone will answer that question when they actually get the game, and actually play it to any large extent. You're asking a question no one can answer yet.

First off it's only $40 not $50, where the hell do people keep pulling this $50 price tag from icon_mad.gif
And second I don't think the very small number of us that managed to get it yet would of played a whole lot of it. But I'll take a guess and say it follows a similar formula to Oblivion and a lot of other RPGs of this kinda and will have a heap of dungeon crawling in it.
