First Ace Combat 6 images

360 News | Quick, somebody find Kenny Loggins!
Last week Bandai-Namco revealed their intentions to release Ace Combat 6 on the Xbox 360. This was quite a shock, as the series has not ventured away from the PlayStation line of consoles (excusing Ace Combat Advance, which shared nothing in common).

Earlier today, the first screenshots of Ace Combat 6 were sent through the wire, and in true Ace Combat style, it's looking quite pretty.

US retail sites have also posted pre-orders for the game, many with the subtitle of Fires of Liberation (though it has been commonplace for Ace Combat titles to be released in PAL territories with a completely different subtitle) and a November release date. Also of interest is that many of these sites are listing a bundle pack for the game, which contains a limited edition flight stick - but whether this will hit our shores remains to be seen.

We'll have more on Ace Combat 6 in the coming months.
