Worms coming to XBLA on Wednesday

360 News | Two games in two weeks? A miracle.
Like a schoolchild with a secret Microsoft has let the cat out of the bag and confirmed that Worms will be coming to the Xbox Live Arcade on Wednesday.

The game will include support for up to four players locally or through Xbox Live. In single player there are twenty different challenges to work through. If you're new to the series you'll be pleased to know there will be wide variety of tutorials for those who need a little help.

The game will cost 800 Microsoft points and will feature achievements, as usual a demo will also be available for those who like to try before they buy.

HELL YES!

800 points is pretty reasonable for Worms action - Wednesday night will be a good night.
I'll be seeing all the Microsoft forumers online then, I take it? icon_wink.gif

Indeed you will. Could this be a bigger hit than GoW ?

^ No.

But it will be a hit - providing that the weapons are all there.

It will probably be money better spent than Worms Open Warfare on the PSP. No one else I know multiplays that, and the AI is a cheating bitch as always.

This game is definately one of the best games to be put on XBLA. Especially with online features, should be a blast.

Or most played 360 game.. I havent been on the 360 too much recently but the XBLA games are seriously where the funs at. I cant wait for this title - I havent played worms since I was a kid.

Im hoping the multiplayer really takes off though because theres alot of other XBLA games that have failed in that department eg. Small Arms and Assault Heroes (the multiplayer dosent even work!). So yeah Im going to make sure that theres no flaws in the initial release before buying it because I most certainly wont be playing it for singleplayer..
