GTA IV teaser website online

360 News | First trailer to be revealed in under a months time.
Following on from the on track confirmations earlier today, the website for Rockstar North's Grand Theft Auto IV has gone live, and with it, a countdown to an imminent trailer release.

With nothing else of note on the site, other than a giant Roman numeral four and copious amounts of black, it will be less than twenty-eight days and counting until the world has its first peek at the next properly sequelised instalment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

Only a trailer? A trailer is a lot when there have been little to no details released about the game, let alone screenshots of other media.

Edit: Screenshots or other media...

they purposely choke us of media to make sure its a big impact once the trailer is out ><? is that their tactic oO?! its working too well +_+

^ Ok....

That has me counting down the month already. Just to see the art direction they're going with the game is teasing me alone.

Next-gen GTA, here we come..

Art direction? Meh. I want to see if they're going to try the game show feel of the first game again.

^ It'd certainly be nice of them to bring back the much loved 'GOURANGA!' icon_smile.gif

The news of a next-gen gta trailer is very exciting. I watched the San Andreas trailers about 50 times before the game was released.

I really like the idea of using a countdown system. It really gets the suspense and hype for the game going. Can't wait to see some video.

I promised myself I wouldn't get excited about GTAIV, after the dissapointment that was Saints Row and the fact I haven't been hugely enthused about the series since Vice City. However, seeing this news of a trailer...

Damn I want to see it. icon_biggrin.gif

^ I swear I was the only one who really got into Saints Row...

As for this news, sounds good to me. It will be nice to finally have some insight into how the next GTA game might play. Will be even better if we can finally find out where it will be set this time around.

I was hooked on the demo alone for the best part of a month... I loved the game. It did get an overly critical response, I thought - but then that's one of the reasons that I love this place icon_smile.gif

^ Hey, I liked Saint's Row. The story was just too disappointing though, especially the ending.
