Conan coming to next gen platforms

360 News | Not out until 2008 though.
THQ has finally confirmed that they're bringing a Conan game to the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3 in early 2008. The game is in development at Nihilistic Software, who were behind Vampire: The Masquerade.

"The strength and diversity of the Conan brand lends itself extremely well to the interactive format," said Jack Sorensen, executive vice president, Worldwide Studios, THQ. "Through intense combat, familiar environments and next generation visuals, we believe Conan fans and action adventure enthusiasts alike are certain to embrace this future addition to the Conan universe."

It's also worth pointing out this game is in no way connected to The Age of Conan which was announced back in December.

Sweet!

The conan game on xbox was crap though, I hope it doesn't go down the same road.
Let's have a character that actually resembles Arnie.
And yes I know the fictional character doesn't look like Arnie but having the character resemble the same character from the movie will have a huge benefit.

Kraammm!!!!

God to hear it's not the age of conan game too. icon_y1.gif

On the contrary, I'm more looking forward to Age of Conan. Do enough people care about it though?
