The first pack will be released on March the 9th and contains two multiplayer levels, “Radar Field,” which is described by Capcom as being a closed quarters facility which is under construction and has a giant radar that provides an excellent vantage point, and “Island 902,” a sprawling Pacific-themed battlefield with several islands connected by bridges as well as vast underwater areas. "Battlegrond" the multiplayer map originally offered exclusively to those who purchased the Limited Edition of Lost Planet will be made available for free. The map pack will be available for 400 points.
Capcom also confirmed two more multiplayer map packs are on the way and they should be out in a few months. Whilst you're waiting for March 9th, why not head over to our review? It should kill 30 minutes.
