Downloadable content for Rainbow Six: Vegas coming soon

360 News | New maps and modes to play with.
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas was one of the better games of last year. In fact, it was so good, that we rated it a very, very healthy 9.0 out of 10. So, it comes as rather good news that Ubisoft have announced plans to have some downloadable content available for the game on Xbox Live (exclusively too) by the end of March - score.

It seems like there is a reasonable amount of new stuff to experience, too. There are five new maps available to shoot it out in - Doscala Restaurant, Marshalling Yard and, erm, Roof. The other two new maps consist of rebuilt versions of Killhouse and Bordertown from the original game. Not too shabby at all.

Additionally, there will be two new game modes to play with. First up is Assassination, where the attacking team will - surprisingly enough - try to assassinate a VIP, while the defending team will try and shop such nastiness from ever occurring. The other new game mode would be Total Conquest. Scattered around the map will be three radar stations - all you have to do is turn one on, and protect it from the opposition for a period of time in order to claim victory.

Keep your eyes peeled for it in late March.
