GRAW2 demo released

360 News | No Live Arcade title today though.
As we outlined only a few days ago a demo for Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 has been released on the Xbox Live marketplace.

The demo is available exclusively to gold members for a week and weighs in at 625MB. The demo allows you to try out the single player part of the game before Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 ships in March.

In GRAW II, you'll once again be in control of the U.S military's elite fighting unit, the Ghosts. It is the year 2014, the rising conflict between Mexican loyalists and insurgent rebel forces has thrown Mexico into a civil war. The Ghosts are called to face an imminent threat to the United States. You have 72 hours to stop the attack.

is there a PC Demo version coming?

Absolutely awesome news as far as I am concerned. Screw an Arcade title, this will suit me nicely. No doubt after I play it, the March release will become suddenly much harder to wait for.

How is it? Anybody tried it out?

It's very very short. First play through was about 20 minutes at max while my second was under 10. Lots of new stuff (well.. by new I mean re-hashed but more pretty and slightly different) to check out in the demo (the mule, good explosions, full cross com 2.0 support, etc) and a bunch of kills to make. For a demo it's well put together, however very short. The game looks to be identical to GRAW in so many ways - which I am personally happy with, though I know most people won't be. More of an expansion than a full blown sequel as far as I can tell thus far. Graphics are awesome.

Yep, the demo was rather short and I am slightly disappointed that it ends when it does (although I won't reveal where incase of spoilers). That said, it was still a rocking demo and a nice (and small) taste at what is to come in March. As I suspected, the wait for the sequel has become that much harder and I really can't wait to get my hands on the final product and to become a Ghost once more. And as if I haven't already mentioned it enough already, I really can't wait to start using those damn Jet Fighters.

Jet Fighters...

Win.
