Call of Duty map packs updated

360 News | They're now working.
Activision has sent word that the Valour map packs released for the Xbox 360 have now been fixed.

A post on the official Call of Duty website states that "We are happy to announce that we have resolved the issue, and that the map pack is now fully available for download over Xbox Live Marketplace. We have also released a Title Update which, in addition to addressing the map pack issue, also remedies key issues regarding Ranked Lobbies and Ranked Matches that some users have experienced. If you downloaded the Map Pack on January 18, please download the new Title Update which resolves these issues. If for any reason you deleted the Valor Map Pack after your purchase, you are entitled to re-download it without charge."

Good news for those of you who thought your 800 points had been wasted; we're pleased the issue was resolved so quickly, but let's hope next time that these issues are fixed before the updates go live.

Over 1 Gig for 5 maps puts me off!!!

Why? New textures and models take up a lot of space. It's a reasonable amount of space considering the higher resolution compared to last gen. Where a map pack of similar size could be as much as 500Mb.

These map packs are for Call of Duty 3 right? Because the game info says they are for CoD2.
