THQ secures the UFC license

360 News | More sweaty men coming to your console soon.
According to IGN, THQ have secured the rights to make games based on the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) until 2011.

THQ have a long history of publishing [i]WWE[/] titles, with the most recent game coming out at the end of last year. The UFC is a competition where fighters from around the world enter an eight sided cage known as the Octagon, the fighters all use a wide variety of different material arts.

The agreement entitles THQ to create games for all current and next generation consoles, handhelds and PC's. This means we're probably likely to see a UFC game before the year is out. THQ haven't actually announced any titles are on the way, but if they do then we'll report back.

THQ Snapped it up, mainly because Midway has TNA. WWE is tipped to drop THQ as the producer of their Videogames, which wasn't helped with the fact that WWE Sued them and I think that's still ongoing right now.

Vince is doing all sorts of crazy ****, it seems like now there is no difference between Vince McMahon the person and Mr McMahon the character, thats what the reports have beeing saying backstage.

Monty Brown what the HELL were you thinking? Now thanks to WWE's stupid creative writing he's Marquis Cor Von. Vince just wants a name for him that he can trademark so Vince "owns" him by name and by contract

WWE is not a good product, they deserve to have THQ to ditch them
