New BioShock images sink into view

360 News | Not shocking.

2K Games has sent through two of the latest images of Bioshock, one of our most anticipated titles of 2007.

BioShock is the work of Irrational Games, the folks behind System Shock 2. The game is a first person shooter set in Rapture - utopian place where the top members of society (smartest, strongest etc.) can go to live in peace. Set underwater it's inhabitants have discovered the secret of genetic manipulation. However, everything goes wrong and Rapture is turned into a dangerous place with scary mutants and a city that is in turmoil.

Image 1 out of 2 just got me thinking of Condemned... Well, I guess I enjoyed being pummeled by crazy people with pipes once already, so why not one more time in a different setting?
