Kid buys Madden

360 News | Gets porn and complains.
We've always wondered exactly what it was that made the Madden NFL series so successful but it seems the secret has been revealed.

14-year old Koltan Murphy from Utah was given Madden NFL 07 by his uncle for Christmas, with the title purchased from a branch of Circuit City in California. However, rather than seeing sweaty big men throwing a ball, he saw porn flash up on the screen; we assure you there are differences between the former and the latter.

Koltan told his parents who were understandably shocked. The Murphys aren't looking to sue but just want to ensure this doesn't happen again. The Hot Coffee mod doesn't seem quite as bad now does it?

Its true that retailers don't clear or even check the items they get returned to them. My 14 year old sister returned a DS to EB a while ago due to excessive scratches on the screen. Luckily no porn, but if retailers are going to sell items as new, they better check them!

Not that I'm bagging out EB. Just one of those things I suppose.

Second hand ipods need to be cleaned out now after an 8 year old girl bought an ipod video with hardcore porn on it (and not the straight kind either).

I pretty sure she'd be mentally scarred for that one.
It wasn't an iPod, and DrTim posted a link to the story earlier in the thread.

Not fair to ban iPods just because one little human is scarred for life.

i don't see why ANY portable music player would be allowed in schools.

firstly: you're there to learn, not listen to music.
secondly: theft would be a massive problem at most schools.

Which is why they were banned at my old school, quickly followed by PSP being banned because some kid was caught watching porn during lunch icon_lol.gif

One of my mates got done at ym school for stealing half a dozen mobile phones, he only got suspended mind you. Since then they cracked down on it.

But yep I argee that your at school to learn, it's probably better here than othr countries where you get out of school at 5:00pm and start at 10:00am.

I wouldn't have survived high-school without my trusty discman, it'd suck to have a ban on personal music players at school. I found it much easier to study, write, etc. with music on. Certainly helped escape the **** classroom squabbles too icon_smile.gif

I've had to learn very quickly that in Australian schools that slagging on someone usually means that person inds out very quickly. So now I slag on everyone. icon_lol.gif
