Lost Planet Webisodes

360 News | Kind of like a television show, except web based of course.

Capcom has sent through three 'webisodes' for the upcoming Lost Planet. We're such big fans of the game that we thought we'd upload them so you can download them. All three downloads are rather large, but come highly recommended.

We're not sure yet whether Capcom will be releasing any more webisodes on Lost Planet, but if they do then we'll keep you updated, You can save the downloads by right clicking and selecting "save target as".

Awakening (180MB)
Cold Reality (258MB)
Secrets (177MB)

Look out for PALGN's extended hands on with Lost Planet shortly, including the online multiplayer of the game. Lost Planet is already shaping up to be one of the titles to keep an eye on in 2007, so you can rest assured that we'll definitely be keeping an eye on this one.

Can anyone tell me how long the webisodes are?

I'm viewing them off the official site (much smaller download) but they're only around 1 minute long...

180MB seems quite large for a minute. Is the quality just really good or am I missing something?

Yeah, it is only about 1 min each... I have no idea how they managed to make them that big, either.

If they're one minute and at that size... damn. They need to compress them just a little bit.

Alas I can't download them right now, what with being capped and all and searching for a free mirror right now.

Well, DV quality is 200 meg a minute. That's in standard definition too. Which is rather odd seeing as DV isn't that crash hot. Disjointed sentences rock.
