First GRAW 2 details slip out

360 News | Including likely release date.
It's looking like the follow-up to 2005's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter could be with us sooner than expected. Indeed, in its latest financial statement, Ubisoft revealed that GRAW 2 (we still cringe at that acronym) may well be released in March or April 2007.

Not only that, but US rag Game Informer has let slip the first few details of the sequel. Apparently, the game will take place along the US and Mexico border, with the story spanning 72 hours. There's also an assortment of improvements, including better graphics (though the first game was hardly ugly), improved weather (with - OMG! - actual puddles that appear when it rains, the next generation is here, etc.), enhancements to the HUD and superior AI.

Splendid news, especially after we enjoyed the first so damn much.

Yay for improved AI, the last bit of the last level was too easy because of the "dumb" AI (and a lucky guess) which let me kill the boss guy straight away icon_lol.gif

Easy? Well I'm glad you think so, I haven't even made it to the last level yet and this game is damn hard. Granted I am new to this stuff still but if it's easy then I really suck! icon_wink.gif

Seriously though, awesome news about a sequel. After having an absolute blast with GRAW, a sequel definitely has my interest. Bring it on. icon_smile.gif

I wasn't saying entire game is easy, just the last bit of the last level.

I mean for the other people you have to capture, you have to storm a building filled with soldiers and if you don't hug the walls you'll get killed very quickly. The last level all you need to do is get over a hill aim at a building shoot the guy who is pretty much out in the open. Surely the AI should of hid him behind a wall or something rather than standing in a window waving at me.
