Viva Piñata accessory pack 2 released

360 News | Fancy a hat?
The second accessory pack for Viva Piñata has been released on the marketplace and is available for the modest price of 90 points. The pack is a little more substantial this time around (just a little) and includes:

1. Mr Pants Hat
2.Von Ghoul Helmet
3.Soupswill Chef Hat

The accessories will fit on most Piñata. The accessories can be obtained from Paper Pets in the village. Viva Piñata is Rare's next Xbox 360 title, the game is only a few weeks away from release, so look for our review shortly.

I like that these hats are themed from other Rare IPs. I don't like that there are already two accessory packs out even before the game is released locally - not a good sign for things to come.

^ You're surprised or worried about this? Microsoft/Rare have always suggested that this game would be about the marketplace. It's a budget title, it costs $60-70, practically half of the RRP for other 360 games. It's a game that's designed for these sort of minor add-ons.

Honestly, I don't think add-ons for a game like this are bad at all. They're not expensive (this pack is less than $1.50), and they allow you to add some character to your garden as you choose.

I just worry about how many of them there will be. I mean, if you look at Oblivion for example, your now probably close to the $200 mark if you bought the game and all the downloads.

But I degress, I had been forgetting that it's coming out at the cheaper price range. Maybe this is why?

Yeah, this is exactley why - they've pretty much said so from the start.

Even if you bought every single extra bit with Oblivion (even horse armour icon_rolleyes.gif) it's still just $18. If you really love a game, that's not heaps more to spend really, so long as you are actually getting decent content for your money.
