At the eGames and Entertainment Expo in Melbourne Morten Brodersen, CEO of Third Wave Games, revealed that the game had just been signed for Live Arcade. We recently had the opportunity to interview Morten about this partly Australian developed title.
Morten told PALGN that the game should be available in “around six months”. They have signed up with a “top 10” publisher whom they are not yet allowed to reveal. War World has already been approved for release on Live Arcade by Microsoft.
Morten also commented that one of the barriers for converting the game will be to reduce the file size. Xbox Live Arcade restricts the file size of titles to 50 MB, so most of the development time will be spent converting the textures and improving the graphics to take advantage of the Xbox 360’s rendering ability.
